Summary

Vpply, a new startup, wanted to make its website more user-friendly for job seekers. Our goal was to give people an alternative to the usual job application process. Working with two other designers, we created a fresh and easy-to-use interface, helping Vpply stand out in the job-hunting market.

So, what?

As a startup, Vpply’s founders were driven by the vision of creating a sought-after product in the modern job market, specifically catering to a broader range of industries. However, in their zeal for service delivery, they unintentionally neglected the usability of their website.

To bridge this gap, my team and I closely collaborated with decision-makers and back-end developers. Analysing our engagements, we aligned our designs with their desired outcomes. The insights gained empowered us to construct a robust design system, laying the groundwork for the impactful rebranding of Vpply.

Conclusion

The comprehensive redesign of Vpply’s website not only aimed at revamping its look but provided a unique opportunity for the company to distinguish itself among larger competitors like JobAdder or Seek.

We curated an immersive experience that conveyed the story of Vpply through strategic use of colour theory, ensuring the interface was not only visually appealing but also user-friendly. This approach instilled confidence in decision-makers, empowering them to confidently present their product in the competitive market landscape.
